Instead of being long and slender, indica weed leaves are stubby and wider. Therefore, cultivators should always have additional ventilation for indica strains in indoor and greenhouse environments. Their thick, tough leaves are difficult for bugs to eat, but their foliar density can block moisture. Indica plants are quite an insect-resistant strain but easy targets for fungi and mildew. Cross-breeds or hybrids often have mixed traits, leading to some interesting variations. Indica leaves are 5, 7, or 9-bladed, with very few strains having more than 13.
